Hiding in Plain Sight

I see you.

I feel you.

Why close your eyes?

I…

I need you.

You don’t want me.

You?

Are you alone…why?

You are kind…but

You… don’t help me.

Will we play… dumb?

We are adults.

How… must we

Oh… who must we

Oh, I know.

Me.

Eleven years old…Me.

Let go of your

Ego

Trauma lego…

Stop. He’s not

Here,

Hear and Listen.

Eat and enjoy.

A long sleep.

Laugh and cry in

Lucid dreams.

While you hide,
We seek.
Yet you are everywhere.

If I call you,
Will you answer?
Or will you only exist
When no one is looking?
